MY FRIEND CHRISTOPHER

With a commitment to roots music and thoughtful songcraft, My Friend Christopher is a Canadian performer of original songs that explore the joys and challenges of family life from diverse perspectives – parent and kid, cat and dog.  New Orleans piano and horns, and acoustic guitar rags with tuba set up the stories My Friend Christopher sings about, to, and with his family in his friendliest dad voice. 

His debut album and hit single Get Dressed! have made their way into homes, radio stations and many Tiktok videos worldwide.  Arrangements which pay tribute to early blues and jazz artists and lyrics that encourage children while acknowledging parents aren’t perfect are what set My Friend Christopher’s songs apart.
