TOMMY GILHAM
Tommy Gilham was born and raised in Birmingham Alabama in a home filled with love and southern hospitality.
He was drawn to Nashvville after he won a song-writing contest for Jack Daniels.
Tommy eventually landed a publishing deal with Polygram that soon led to him signing a record deal with Decca Records.
Only thirty minutes from Talladaga and fifteen minutes from the Alabama gang, Tommy became close friends to the Allison family (Bobby, Dave and Bonnie) who helped him for many years in his venture to Nashville–landing him a Nascar tour playing on the start/finish line every Sunday before the Nascar race.
Over the years Tommy has had the opportunity to work with many well-known artists such as Charlie Daniels, Hank Williams Jr.,Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers, Lee Ann Womack, Michael MacDonald, Allison Krause, Little Feat, Marty Stewart, Montgomery Gentry and many more. He also worked for Travis Tritt singing most of his demos.
Tommy’s ventures took him to Canada where he released his first single ANGELS LEAVING BIRMINGHAM that landed at #46 on BILLBOARD’S top 100 in Canada.
