Do you know how to speak the language of nature?  Have you ever performed in a Boom Whacker Shoe Orchestra?  Do you know the difference between a thunder drum and a rainstick?  If not, you’d better grab your kids and head to the “Lloyd A. Turner Children’s Stage #3”  before you all grow up too fast.
Charlie Kert and Farisya Khairul are into their third year of performing Little Fingers Music together.
They have toured all over Ontario with a show designed to get children singing, dancing and drumming.  Charlie writes the songs, and plays guitar and keyboard. Farisya has a background in acting and performance and sings and dances all over the stage.  It’s a high energy, fun show with an environmental theme. Charlie has released three full length children’s CDs written and recorded with grants from theToronto & Ontario Arts Councils. He has also released three broadcast quality videos and written two plays“ROCKgarden Party!”  and “Planet Hope”. This summer’s touring show draws from all of these sources.  When not on tour, charlie runs a music program in Toronto schools.  “Little Fingers Music Keyboard Classes”  introduce keyboard to children JK-G3 in a fun group setting.  These classes are taught in 20 elementary schools in Toronto by 20 trained instructors. While this all might sound serious, the show is anything but.  It provides an escape into the mystical world of music, nonsensical sounds and nature where city noise and smog “never make the guest list”.  This summer they welcome special guest Ashley Pang  www.LittleFingersMusic.com
