Every year at the Dundas Cactus Festival, our local businesses take to the street to display their products and services during the Festival weekend. Dundas is a well-known shopping destination, and it’s a great opportunity to discover all the great shops in our downtown core.

In addition, we welcome a large variety of product and food vendors, community and service groups. Want to learn more about what’s going on in Dundas and the surrounding communities? Visiting the Vendor Marketplace on King Street is a great place to start!

Hungry while walking at the Festival? There’s something for everyone from ethnic specialities to fair favourites.

Festival Patio

Friday 6-11pm, Saturday 9am-11pm, Sunday noon-4pm

Located adjacent to the Festival Mainstage, there’s no better spot to take a break and enjoy a cold beer from Shawn & Ed Brewing, a selection of wine from Flat Rock Cellars or a cider from West Avenue Ciders. And, be sure to visit the brewery for a tour & tasting! It’s right next door!

This year, you will be able to purchase drink tickets using cash, debit or credit. Our friendly patio staff look forward to meeting you!

Patio access is restricted to patrons 19 and over, after 6om, and capacity limits are strongly enforced.

Roller Skating & Lounge

A new exciting activity this year!

The Cactus Festival wants you to experience the thrill of summer roller skating on a state-of-the-art outdoor roller rink, and hang out in our Leisure Lounge!

This activity is free for all and will run in 10 to 15 minute rounds with 40 helmets and skates available on a first come first served basis.

Not roller skating? Hang out in our Swing Lounge complete with LED swings, and tables to watch the fun or take in our Homegrown Musical talent in the same area.

The fun starts at 6:30 pm on Friday and continues all weekend long.

Dundas Museum & Vintage Fire Trucks

Check out the Dundas Museum & Archives’ booth at the Festival on Memorial Square off King St., chat with DM+A Staff/Volunteers, and celebrate 5 decades of Cactus Fest by checking out our historic fire trucks.

Our fire truck play pack will be back by popular demand, plus the museum will be open for extra hours. You’ll also be able to purchase DM+A books like the popular The History of the Town of Dundas by T. Roy Woodhouse, learn more about our current exhibitions, and life in the Dundas Valley over the years.

The Dundas Museum & Archives always has FREE admission and is open to public during hours of operation.
