ROCKET & THE RENEGADES
Straight out of Hamilton Rocket and the Renegades have been playing original high energy rock n roll since 2016
The band has been direct support for Teenage Head, Robert Gordon and Chris Spedding and Junkhouse. They played the Sound of Music Festival main stage after winning 2024 battle of the bands. Their music has been showcased on cmctv talent and cable 14 ensemble.
Performing original roots, as well as featuring some classic covers. They love that damn rock and roll and capture their audience. The band members include:
Robin Magder on lead vocals and guitar;
Rick Prinsthal on lead guitar and vocals;
John Welton on bass guitar and back-up vocals; and
Derek Millar on drums.
They are seasoned musicians, emulating “you are never too old to be young!”.
